Research
During my postdoc in the SAMBA lab, my research was focused on the identification of neurobiological factors that may correlate with criminal behavior by combining neuroimaging techniques (MRI/DTI), behavioral measures and physiological measures.
Projects:
Supervisors:
Dr. Inti Brazil
Dr. Rogier Mars (Donders Institute/Oxford University)
Dr. Maaike Kempes (NIFP)
Biography
I obtained my Master’s degree (cum laude) in Neuropsychology and Rehabilitation Psychology in 2007, followed by a Research Master’s degree (cum laude) in Cognitive Neuroscience in 2010. In the same year, I received the TopTalent grant from the Donders Institute, supported by the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research. This grant enabled me to perform my PhD research on cognitive aging at the department of Geriatric Medicine of the RadboudUmc. In 2015, I started my postdoctoral project, which was part of a collaboration between the SAMBA group, the Cognitive Neuroecology lab and the Netherlands Institute of Forensic Psychiatry and Psychology (NIFP) in Utrecht. I am now a Program Manager at ZonNW.
