Research
My project was focused on investigating the neural underpinnings of errorless learning in the general population, with a potential clinical application for patient populations. I used electrophysiological and behavioural measurements to get a better understanding of the neural processes involved.
Main focus:
- Unravel the relationship between error frequencies and electrophysiological signals (e.g. ERN, fERN)
- Identify whether neural feedback signals are scaled by the number of errors on the task
- Investigate the potential predictive value of EEG signals during learning on later task performance
Supervisors:
Dr. Inti Brazil
Prof. dr. Roy Kessels
Biography
When I was a member of the SAMBA lab I was finishing my bachelor in Psychology at the Radboud University in Nijmegen. Next to the regular bachelor program, I followed the two-year Honors Program, which is focused on conducting scientific research in Psychology. I also worked as a student assistent at the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour carrying out behavioural and EEG experiments. I am currently enrolled in the Cognitive Neuroscience Master program at the Radboud University and hope to join a PhD program afterwards.
